Each customer connects their own account; we do not use one user's Gmail data for another customer.

5.2 OAuth Scopes We Request

• gmail.readonly — to read inbound emails your agent should respond to
• gmail.send — to send reply emails on your behalf
• gmail.modify — to mark processed messages as read (remove UNREAD label) and avoid duplicate processing
• userinfo.email and openid — to identify which Gmail account is connected

5.3 Data We Access

When you connect Gmail, we may access:

• The email address of the connected account
• Message metadata (subject, sender, recipients, date, thread ID, message ID)
• Email body text and, when present, attachments needed to generate a reply
• OAuth tokens required to maintain the connection (stored encrypted)
• Conversation and thread state within our platform to maintain reply context

We do not request access to unrelated Google services beyond what is needed for the email agent feature.

5.4 How We Use Google User Data

Google user data is used only to:

• Fetch and process inbound customer emails
• Classify intent and generate appropriate AI-assisted replies
• Send replies through your connected Gmail account
• Mark processed messages as read in Gmail
• Provide conversation history and support within your Fonada AI account

• Any purpose unrelated to providing or improving the email agent feature you enabled

Email content may be processed by AI models solely to generate replies and related user-facing features for your agent. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI/ML models. Google user data is not transferred to third-party AI services for their model training. Any AI service providers we use are engaged only to deliver inference for your agent under terms that prohibit using your data to train their models.

• Email content and conversation data are retained only as long as needed to operate your agent and as configured in your account
• You may disconnect Gmail at any time from Agent Builder → Channel Setup → Disconnect
• You may revoke Fonada AI's access at Google Account Permissions
• Upon disconnection or account deletion request, we delete or anonymize associated Google user data and OAuth tokens within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law

You control whether to connect Gmail. Without OAuth consent, we cannot access your Google user data. You may revoke access at any time through Google or by disconnecting in our platform.
